I bought the laser comb some 6 weeks ago. I have had some hair regrowth round the front which I am pleased about so will see how it goes. The 4 score was because the connection when you the laser comb in the stand to recharge is very bad and you have to move it around to get a connection.

This product wasn't well made. The battery cover doesn't fit properly on the comb. It comes with cheap accessories. The vibration from the comb is minimal and not able to make a difference on the scalp.

It's a brush: it's great to use and I feel benefits from it. It has two movements of switch-one for the infrared and the other is vibration and infrared. I use mine for about a minute each morning and I'm pretty sure it improves the condition of the hair too. I had one before and I feel they are so good I bought another.

Many of the combs on the laser market do seem to be a substantial investment. Although there are cheaper models they do seem to present questionable results. The one thing to be aware of is that some of the lower priced laser combs are using infra red or LEDs rather than laser diodes.
Based on the buyer feedback the better known brands such as HairMax seem be give the best results, such as the HairMax Laser Pro 12 which gives a better standard of treatment using 12 individual laser diodes.

Before and After Using a Laser Comb

This guy has posted a video showing his hair before using a laser comb and after one year of using it three times per week. He seems to be using some kind of crazy custom made laser hat, but it should have the same effect as the laser combs featured on this page.

His hair growth after one year is not exceptional but it looks as though he has had some mild regrowth.

How to use a Laser Comb
